Under the pseudonym Kikoman, Asha Limin (b. 2005) is a student-artist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. They have been interested in various art forms since childhood which consequently developed a deeper interest in the visual arts in 2021.They are an illustrator and designer with inks and digital tools as their primary medium. Their body of work stems from their identity as a queer person, as a Filipino, their lived experiences involving mental health, and even personal struggles. Through such vulnerability, diving into these subjects help their goals against alienation and for connection.With these, they have been exhibited under “Paghuhulma, Anyo, at Porma” in UPD’s Parola Fine Arts Gallery, have shared their work through art markets such as Komiket and Wet Market: Art Market throughout Metro Manila, and have been personally commissioned for personal pieces. Currently, they are pursuing a bachelor’s degree majoring in Visual Communication from the College of Fine Arts under the University of the Philippines Diliman.
